Ahoy there, 'tis a long time since I last spoke to ye for I have been sailing the high seas (not really). I bring back spoils and booty in the form of videos for ye to enjoy. Set sail for adventures. Yarrrr!
I have this to say on the subject of The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy Movie:
It's not bad. Really. It's not the best movie in the world and it could have been done better but it's still definitely worth seeing. It's not the same as the radio, book or TV versions, and it shouldn't be either. For me the funniest parts were the new bits, the line "Oh no, not again." can only be that funny once unfortunately.
So go and see it; the knitted part is hilarious. In honour of the release of the movie I've updated the shop with a selection of Guide items.
I have decided to write a blog. Yes, a blog. Today I got up some time in the morning. Then I had a shower and got dressed. Then I went downstairs to find that someone couldn?t be bothered to answer the door when the post man came, meaning I would have to make an arduous 5 minute trek to the sorting office, where I would pick up a small package that looked worryingly like a parcel bomb. But not before breakfast.
Breakfast and trek over, I was back at home. Of course I knew the package wasn't a bomb; it was yet another item ordered from ebay. At least, had it been an explosive device, there would be negative feedback heading towards the seller, because I didn't order a bomb. I think it's against the rules any way; Royal Mail certainly wouldn't be too happy about it.
After this, a passable amount of time went by, interspersed with lunch, during which apparently nothing happened. At least a small explosion would have added some spice to the day. Ooh ooh, 6 o'clock! Simpsons!
